We are learning to be self-managers

What makes a good self-manager in Ruma Piwakawaka?

We have been talking about how we can manage ourselves at school. We are learning to do certain tasks without having to be reminded all the time by our teachers.

Here are some of the ways we can be a self-manager.

We can remember to put our hats (pōtae) on when we go outside.

We can put our own bag on our hook, and keep it zipped up!

We tidy up an activity when we have finished doing it.

We can push in our chairs.

We can tidy up our crayons and our classroom.

We can manage ourselves by sitting on the mat with our listening bodies.

Can you think of any other ways we can show that we are excellent self-managers in Ruma Piwakawaka?
