Superkids in Piwakawaka

Superkids

This week in Ruma Piwakawaka we read the shared big book 'Superkids'.
We loved the story, so we decided that we would have a day at school being 'Superkids'.

First of all we started our day with 'superberries'!
(they were actually kiwiberries)

These gave us super kid energy.
"They tasted soft and juicy like eyeballs" said Sam.
"They tasted like kiwifruit" said Harry.
"They were super yummy and squishy, and they had seeds in them" said Mia.
"I liked them" said Tui.
"They were yucky" said Charlotte.
"They were as fluffy as a cloud" said Britney.

Then, we got creative and painted tall buildings at night,
for our back drop to our super kid flying scenes.

What amazing contributors and communicators we have in Ruma Piwakawaka!

Here are our pictures of our super kids flying through the air,
ready to save the day!
