This week we had a class vote on our Student Council and EnviroWarrior representatives from Ruma Piwakawaka. Lots of children were keen to put their hand up to give it a go, but we could only choose one person for each role.
Each person who wanted to be chosen gave a short speech about what they would offer to the role, and then we had a blind vote.
Our student council rep is.....Harry
Harry is looking forward to going to the student council meetings and then sharing with us what we need to know. He is full of creative ideas for the students at Goodwood School.
Our enviro rep is.......Anja
Anja looks after our environment around our classroom, and is keen to get involved with the enviro team at Goodwood School.
We also nominated two class librarians....Zach and Tui
Wow Anja - I had to read this blog to find out you are the Enviro-warrior for Piwakawaka (I know, you forgot to tell us). That's awesome! Huge congratulations to the other class representatives too :-)
